Account numbers for the system continue onto the Payroll Defaults tab. These account numbers have been separated from the others on the Ledger Defaults tab for convenience. This way all of the payroll accounts, along with taxes, FICA and Medicare information, and various rates can be easily viewed and edited on this one screen.
