The Raw Material Inventory Control system provides the mechanism for defining and maintaining the Raw Material Inventory.  This system can actually be used to control all expendable supplies including Fabric, Trim, Accessories, Shipping Supplies and Packaging Supplies.

Raw Material Inventory is fed by the Purchase Order Processing System and depleted through Cut Order or Manufacturing Order Processing.  The mechanism that ties these two systems together is the Trim Sheet, which is an Apparel Industry Bill of Materials.
