The AS/AP Apparel System offers a complete series of payroll programs that will fill the payroll needs of most companies while they integrate with other AS/AP programs, such as
General Ledger, Job Costing, and Piece Work Payroll.
Gross-to-Net Payroll The Gross-to-Net Payroll is the portion of the payroll system most people are familiar with. The functions include calculating Gross pay for hourly and
salaried employees, tracking deductions like insurance, garnishments, and 5 user defined miscellaneous categories. Although many clients elect to leave the titles of these miscellaneous fields with their default titles
(Misc1, Misc2, ets.), however, the titles are now user definable. In addition to accepting keyboard input, the Gross to Net system accepts input from Electronic Time clock systems.
Incentive (Piece Work) Payroll The Piece Work payroll system is designed to print bar coded Piece Work tickets (coupons) and accept either keyboard or scanned data input to
calculate earned pay, makeup, and operator efficiencies. The Gross pay calculated by piece work portion of the system can then be passed to the Gross to Net system to calculate taxes and print checks.
